Aquababies
Today we had our first swim class, aquababies! Jackson was so good! He didn't cry, but didn't really seem to love it either. He looked confused most of the time. I went in the water with him while daddy took pictures. We sang the songs The Wheels on the Bus, ABCs, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Hokey Pokey, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. We also practiced kicking, moving our arms, splashing, swimming on our backs and bellies, and kicking off the wall. We even got to swim through a hula hoop and go under the water! We only did it once and Jackson seemed ok with it, but not thrilled. The class seemed to go by quickly but it was really fun. After it was over daddy got in the pool with Jackson for a few minutes. Next class he'll get to swim with J!

ReplyDeleteWe do need to get together! I haven't seen Natalie since she was in the hospital and Jackson and her haven't met yet!
DeleteThats right, he went to the hospital and all but the nicu didn't allow him to go in. Text me to set a date.
