On May 24, our wedding anniversary, Jackson turned 7 months! He's such a big boy and growing so fast! Here's what's happened in the last month:
- We started baby food and he seems to like everything.
- He sits well in the highchair and anticipates the spoon by opening his mouth when he sees it coming.
- Jackson is sitting up unsupported.
- He's rolled over from his stomach to his back a handful of times.
- Snuggles mommy and daddy on our shoulders when he's tired (it's the best!).
- Jackson rubs his eyes with a closed fist when he's tired.
- He eats cereal puffs by picking them up with his fingers and holding them in his hand. He tries to put them in his mouth but they usually ends up falling out or sticking somewhere.
- J drinks water from his sippy cup, or at least attempts to.
- He started grabbing and picking up toys, swinging his arm around, and then dropping the toy or hitting someone in the face with it.
- J will screech when he's happy.
- Jackson is always happy and smiling in the morning.
- He still loves his swing when he's tired.
- He leans forward, to the side, or behind him for toys, picks them up, and puts them in his mouth.
- Jackson leans around whatever is blocking him to see what he's missing.
- Jackson reaches for EVERYTHING and puts it in his mouth.
- Every time J is changed he puts his feet in his mouth and sucks on his toes.
- He loves looking at himself in the mirror.
- Jack always smiles at momma and daddy when we first get home from work.
- He kicks and splashes in the bath.
- He started kicking in swim class.
- Jackson always sleeps on his left side
